The Challenge: Tight Access & Uneven Terrain
Before our intervention, the garden at this Seahill property consisted of an uneven, “boring” lawn that was largely unused and failed to do the property justice. A significant challenge was the restricted access to the site, which prevented the use of heavy machinery. This required our team to dig out the entire area by hand to ensure the project could move forward without compromising on quality or the property itself.
Our Solution: A Bespoke, Low-Maintenance Transformation
Despite the logistical challenges, we delivered a high-spec, personal outdoor space designed for longevity:
- Manual Ground Preparation: We dug the site by hand and installed a proper structural base to ensure the finished surfaces perform properly long-term.
- Curved Porcelain Patio: We laid a beautiful curved porcelain patio as the main focal point, finished with a black basalt border for a clean, architectural contrast .
- Sentimental Planting Area: We created a dedicated decorative stone area specifically for sentimental planting, which included the careful replanting of an existing tree.
- Low-Maintenance Stoned Section: Further down the garden, we installed a secondary stoned section to keep the space organised and easy to maintain.
- Side Access Path: The project was finished with a matching porcelain path around the side of the house, ensuring the entire layout flows together as one finished space.

We dug everything out by hand due to tight access, got the base in properly, and laid a curved porcelain patio with a sharp granite border. We also created a decorative stone area for sentimental planting - including a tree we carefully replanted. Plus a stoned section further down to keep it low maintenance.
